Does The Trustee Take Assets In Chapter 13?

I am writing this letter to let you know that I appreciate everything you did for me in a time of disparate need when my debt obligation seemed endless.  Your Law Firm was there for me and I really appreciate that.  I'm sorry it took so long for me to contact you concerning my Discharge but as you know I have cancer, and during that trying time it took a toll on me.  I am getting much better now and with the debt gone I will surely recover.  So thank you and your team and your support at such a critical time, I really appreciate your services.
